Responsibilities:
• Efficiently manage and maintain legal files and documents.
• Provide support to multiple attorneys in our team, aiding in the resolution of files.
• Utilize your specialized knowledge in legal procedures to enhance the effectiveness of our legal services.
• Administer and manage assigned files under attorney supervision.
• Handle the calendaring and e-filing for both state and federal courts.
• Prepare tables of authorities and tables of contents.
• Update billing sheets and calendars, suggesting improvements when necessary.
• Draft legal correspondence and ensure its delivery to clients.
• Maintain effective and efficient communication with clients, leveraging your strong communication skills.
• Regularly review customer accounts and take appropriate actions when needed.• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Demonstrated ability to manage calendar appointments and scheduling responsibilities
• Experience in drafting legal documents and correspondence
• Familiarity with maintaining legal files and documentation
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proven ability to type at a speed over 60 words per minute
• Experience in maintaining an organized system for files and documents
• A keen eye for detail with an ability to spot errors and inconsistencies
• Strong multitasking skills with an ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and learning within the legal field.
