Exciting Opportunity: Travel Pharmacist in Charge

Location: Crane, TX
Duration: 13 Weeks (Temp to Permanent)
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Full-Time, 1st Shift (Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 6 PM)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff, including technicians and cashiers, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure efficient procurement and maintenance of pharmacy supplies to support operations.
  • Medication Dispensing: Accurately prepare and fulfill prescription orders, ensuring attention to detail at all times.
  • Staff Development: Oversee the hiring and training of new pharmacy personnel to build a strong and effective team.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in retail pharmacy is required.
  • Licensure: Must possess a clear and active Texas pharmacy license.
  • Pharmacist-in-Charge Experience: Previous experience in this role is a plus, but not mandatory.

Additional Information:

  • The pharmacy processes approximately 250-350 prescriptions daily, typically staffed with 1 pharmacist and 3 technicians.
