Position Overview:
Are you a dedicated pharmacist looking to make a meaningful impact? Were on the hunt for a Travel Pharmacist in Charge for a rewarding 13-week assignment in Crane, TX, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent role. Join our dynamic pharmacy team and elevate your career
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff, including technicians and cashiers, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Inventory Management: Ensure efficient procurement and maintenance of pharmacy supplies to support operations.
- Medication Dispensing: Accurately prepare and fulfill prescription orders, ensuring attention to detail at all times.
- Staff Development: Oversee the hiring and training of new pharmacy personnel to build a strong and effective team.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in retail pharmacy is required.
- Licensure: Must possess a clear and active Texas pharmacy license.
- Pharmacist-in-Charge Experience: Previous experience in this role is a plus, but not mandatory.
Additional Information:
- The pharmacy processes approximately 250-350 prescriptions daily, typically staffed with 1 pharmacist and 3 technicians.
- Housing accommodations will be provided for travel candidates.
