We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Paraprofessionals in Gorham, Maine. As a Paraprofessional, you will work closely with students and educators to provide valuable support in various educational settings. Your role will involve assisting students with academic tasks, implementing behavior management strategies, and fostering a positive learning environment. Job Description:
- Onsite
- 2024-2025school year
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with academic tasks, including reading, writing, math, and other subjects as needed.
- Assist studentsin accessing and participating in classroom activities and lessons.
- Implement behavior management techniques and support students in developing appropriate social skills and behaviors.
- Monitor student progress and communicate observations to the supervising teacher or team members.
Qualifications:
- Background Check
- Drug Screen
- AA or higher degree, or 60credit hours, or Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate
- Must be open to working 1:1 and/or supporting classroom
