RPh on the Go is seeking a Staff Pharmacist for a 12-week contract position in Louisville, KY, with the potential for direct hire. This full-time position will primarily involve working second shift Monday to Friday (12:30 PM 11:00 PM) and Saturdays (9:00 AM 9:00 PM). Flexibility with the weekend shift is available, including 6, 8, or 10-hour options.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a Long-Term Care (LTC) environment and familiarity with DocuTrack and Frameworks software systems. If youre passionate about providing high-quality pharmacy services to long-term care patients, wed love to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness
  • Dispense medications accurately and provide clinical guidance to healthcare providers
  • Perform drug utilization reviews (DUR) to ensure optimal medication therapy
  • Provide patient and staff education on medication management and safety
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to optimize patient care in a long-term care setting
  • Document medication-related interventions and track patient outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and best practices
  • Assist with weekend shifts (9:00 AM 9:00 PM or flexible options)

Requirements:

  • Pharmacy experience required
  • Long-Term Care (LTC) experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with DocuTrack and Frameworks software systems is a plus
  • Kentucky Pharmacy License required
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality care
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
  • Flexibility to cover weekend shifts (Saturday shift of 12 hours preferred, but can accommodate 6, 8, or 10 hours)
