Lab Analyst

Our client located in Greenville, NC is seeking a Lab Analyst to join their team. As a Lab Analyst, you will be part of the laboratory department supporting analytical procedures on raw materials and finished goods. The ideal candidate will have mathematical skills, be well-organized and time management skills which will align successfully in the organization.

 Job Title: Lab Analyst

Location: Greenville, NC

Pay Range: $19.00

What’s the Job?

• Performs analyses including instrumental and automated methods utilizing prescribed procedures and techniques.
• Maintains well-documented laboratory notebooks and records.
• Performs calculations to convert laboratory data into a reportable form.
• Compounds formulas and products for internal use and customers.
• Assists R&D Manager/Food Scientists/Flavorist with projects from start to completion.

 What’s Needed?

• BS/BA with a concentration in Chemical or Biological Science and zero to two years laboratory experience; or AA/AS in physical or biological science and two years of experience in a laboratory.
• 0-2 years of experience in a pharmaceutical or related laboratory.
• Broad knowledge of analytical and chemical techniques.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with others to achieve team goals and expectations.
• Interests in researching and implementation of new approaches in analysis.
