Schools - Physical Therapist

We are collaborating with a school district for a Physical Therapist role for the 2024-2025 school year, preferring candidates with school-based experience. However, they are open to speaking with all professionals in the PT field The role involves providing services to a K-12th grade caseload.

Job Details:
  • Onsite location near the Rye, New York area
  • Start ASAP
  • Three days of guaranteed service hours per week
  • # of students / ages TBD
  • 1 or more school sites (mileage can be reimbursed between school sites)

Requirements:

  • Must have a Master's degree in Physical Therapy, a New Yorklicense (or be eligible for one), and previous experience working with children
  • Specialized evaluations and evidence-based treatment that is individualized to the students' needs
  • Maintaining organized documentation of student progress, response to treatment, and general data - organization and timeliness are integral
  • Testing & screenings
  • Contribution to IEPs and 504 plans
  • Adjust treatment as needed to achieve maximum results.
