Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Eden, New York area

Overview: Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in the Eden, New York area. Job Details:

  • On site
  • School based
  • Mild - Moderate caseload

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility to obtain CCC
  • New York state licensure or eligibility for licensure
  • Previous experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist in an educational setting
  • IEP experience preferred but not required
  • Experience with AAC devices

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct prehensive assessments to evaluate patients' speech, language, cognition, and swallowing abilities
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to meet each patient's unique needs and goals
  • Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to improve patients' munication and swallowing skills
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure coordinated care
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes
