M& A Controller


Our manufacturing client, located in Southfield, MI, is looking for a Mergers & Aquisition Controller to join their team on an interim basis. The ideal candidate has previous M& A experience, very strong Technical Accounting skills and a solid understanding of IFRS.


The day-to-day responsibilities will include:


• Oversee Mergers & Acquisition activities, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

• Utilize knowledge of IFRS Accounting to ensure financial statements and reports are accurate and compliant.

• Apply expertise in Technical Accounting to analyze and interpret financial data.

• Manage Acquisition Integration, coordinating with various departments to ensure a smooth transition.

• Handle Financing Agreements, reviewing and negotiating terms as necessary.

• Collaborate with teams across the organization to achieve strategic financial goals.

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have the following skill sets:


• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or equivalent.

• Experience in Mergers & Acquisitions (M& A) is mandatory for this role.

• Strong knowledge and experience in Technical Accounting highly desired.

• Familiarity with IFRS Accounting is an essential requirement.

• Must have the ability to handle Acquisition Integration effectively.
