Virtual School Psychologist
Location: (Remote)
Position Type: Full-time, Work From Home Next School Year
Pay: $46/Hour
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students' academic, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions to support students' success.
- Provide virtual counseling and intervention services to students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges.
- Offer virtual support and guidance to parents and caregivers on strategies to support their child's social and emotional development.
- Participate in virtual multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and develop intervention strategies.
- Stay up-to-date on best practices and research in the field of school psychology and virtual education.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and communications with students and families.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Valid School Psychologist certification/license in Nebraska.
- Experience working as a school psychologist in a virtual or remote setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, families, and colleagues virtually.
- Proficiency in using virtual communication tools and technology platforms for assessment, counseling, and collaboration.
- Commitment to promoting equity and inclusivity in education and supporting the social, emotional, and behavioral well-being of all students.
