Job Description

Looking for an electro-mechanical assembler to help build large transformers. The position involves wiring, installing circuit breakers, contactors, sheet metal, and circuit boards. The candidate needs to be familiar with wiring larger cables - 2 AWG (American Wire Gauge). Some lifting is required, but assistance is provided with a harness (ability to lift about 25 lbs is necessary). The role includes following work assignments, directions, instructions, and the Work Order Schedule provided by the Production Lead.

Hard Skills
  • Familiar with wire gauges (AWG)
  • Familiar with terminals, pins, lugs, and connectors typically used for wire harness fabrication
  • Review Assembly Instructions, Engineering Drawings, or Notes on the BOM (where available)
  • Use hand crimpers to create discrete wires and harnesses
  • Assemble some electronic subassemblies to install harness
Soft Skills
  • Maintain a safe and organized work area/room/station
  • Ensure efficiency requirements and quality standards are met regularly
  • Follow Safety requirements and all Safety policies
  • Determine job order requirements following Production priorities

This is a fully on-site position in Costa Mesa, California.

Work Environment

This position involves working in a production environment where maintaining safety and organization is crucial. Adherence to efficiency and quality standards is regularly monitored.
