Sr. Accountant

LHH is partnering with a publicly traded organization to hire a Senior Accountant in Grapevine, TX. This in-office role offers a competitive salary of $80-85K and a comprehensive benefits package along with great work life balance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare and reconcile general ledger entries, maintaining accurate records and files.
Complete reconciliations of both general ledger and bank accounts.
Assist in preparing consolidated financial statements by gathering and analyzing data from the general ledger and various departments.
Develop and verify spreadsheet reports to analyze financial information and options.
Provide support for special projects by reviewing financial data, converting it to the general ledger system, and obtaining necessary supplementary information.
Assist with project accounting tasks as needed.
Research and interpret data to answer accounting and financial inquiries.
Maintain confidentiality to protect the organization's value.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
3+ years of experience in accounting.
