Job Description:
VocoVision is seeking a dedicated, passionate, and experienced School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our network of independent contractors. This is a flexible, remote position offering teletherapy services to K-12 students across the country. As an Independent Contractor, youll provide essential speech-language therapy services to students in a school setting, supporting their communication and academic success.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver teletherapy speech-language services to students via VocoVision's secure online platform.
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy for a range of speech and language disorders (e.g., articulation, language delays, stuttering, social communication skills).
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on student progress, including IEP documentation and progress notes.
- Attend and participate in virtual IEP meetings when needed.
- Provide direct therapy sessions, as well as consultation and training for teachers and parents.
- Monitor and adjust therapy strategies based on individual student needs and goals.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in a school-based setting, is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of speech-language disorders and the ability to tailor therapy to the needs of diverse student populations.
- Familiarity with IEP process and documentation requirements.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Proficiency in using teletherapy platforms and technology (training provided if necessary).
