ProCare Therapy has partnered with a great school district in Onalaska, Washington to hire a special education assistant for the current 24-25 school year. This position will be full time, paying up to $22/hour

What youll do:

  • Work closely with a K-12 caseload, providing support either 1:1 or in a group setting.
  • Build rapport and trust with the childrenyou work with.
  • Foster a safe and nurturing learning environment.
  • Support other relevant staff to help students achieve their goals.

  • You will be reimbursed up to $150 for any expensesrelated to your state's compliance requirements.

Application requirements:

  • Minimum high school diplomapreferred.
  • Availability to work onsite within the hours of 7am - 4pm.
  • Two references with one by a previous direct supervisor/manager.
  • Background check, drug screen + fingerprinting.
  • TB test within 60 days of start date(only applicable in certain states).

Youll stand out if you have:

  • Experience working in schools.
  • Spent time in special education settings.
  • Any SpEd-specific training or certifications.
