The individual will be responsible for handling a variety of tasks related to health information management, including data entry, record maintenance, and collaboration with other team members. The role operates within the healthcare industry and offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Transfer paper-based data into computer systems with an emphasis on accuracy and precision.
• Establish and maintain physical records to facilitate efficient digitization processes.
• Work in conjunction with team members to ensure data entries are complete and consistent.
• Employ software tools and techniques to enhance data entry tasks and boost productivity.
• Adhere to confidentiality and security protocols when handling sensitive information during the digitization process.
• Conduct record checks and match appropriate records to the patient in the system.
• Utilize skills in programs and applications such as Adobe Acrobat, Allscripts, Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA), Care Compass, Cerner Technologies, etc.
• Respond to and resolve customer inquiries effectively.
• Monitor customer accounts and take relevant action when necessary.
• Handle tasks related to billing functions, answering inbound calls, claim administration, and clinical trial operations.• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat
• Familiarity with Allscripts
• Experience with Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA)
• Knowledge of Care Compass
• Proficiency in Cerner Technologies
• Ability to handle answering inbound calls
• Understanding of billing functions
• Ability to create and understand charts and graphs
• Experience in claim administration
• Familiarity with clinical trial operations
