Forklift Operator And Material Handler

Join a family-owned ag-fertilizer supply company as a Warehouse Associate. Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for processing incoming and outgoing inventory, organizing the warehouse, and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
- Fulfill product order invoices
- Unload materials from incoming trucks
- Load products onto delivery trucks for shipping
- Assist with maintaining equipment, including cleaning out production equipment and lines
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse setting
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Basic math skills
- Familiarity with computer and inventory software preferred
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, kneel, squat, stack, lift, and walk for long periods of time
- Capability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Experience with forklift operation, packing, material handling, inventory management, packaging, picking, loading, and order picking
- Ability to read SKUs and work orders accurately
- Willingness to clean areas and assist with various tasks, including sweeping floors and preparing for the next day

Work EnvironmentThe work environment is a warehouse production setting, where you will be exposed to varying temperatures, including heat, cold, humid conditions, and dust. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, between 6 am and 5 pm, with a minimum of 42.5 hours per week, plus additional overtime as needed.
