Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector responsible for inspecting machined parts using calipers, micrometers, and a CMM (Mitutoyo) according to blueprint specifications. The role involves testing assembled products, creating inspection check sheets, and generating rework orders. Over time, this position offers the opportunity to move into a leadership role and train other employees.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect machined parts using calipers, micrometers, and a CMM (Mitutoyo) per blueprint specifications.
  • Test assembled products to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Create inspection check sheets and generate rework orders.
  • Adhere to ISO 9001 standards in quality assurance processes.
  • Collaborate with a team of quality inspectors and the quality manager.
Essential Skills
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a quality inspector/quality assurance in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and operating a CMM.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Knowledge or experience with ISO 9001 standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • 2-year technical degree (e.g., machine tool) is preferred.
  • Set-up and/or programming experience with a CMM.
  • Previous leadership experience is a plus.
