School Paraprofessionals Needed for ESY and the 2024/2025 School Year:

  • 2-4 openings
  • All positions are elementary
    • Most candidates are at Heather Elementary
  • 1:1 and classroom positions available
  • Please close candidates less than $30/hr
  • Zoom interviews
  • Interviewing ASAP

About the Position:

We are on the hunt fordedicatedParaprofessionals to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of classroom management and experience working with elementary school students. We prefer already having school experience, but please applyif interested

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing activities in the classroom
  • Work 1:1 w/ students or in small groups to support their learning and development
  • Supervise students during play and other activities throughout the entire day
  • Help createa safe and positive learning environment

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with school students (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of classroom management
  • School experience preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Patience and empathy
  • Creativity and imagination
