Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Change Lives and Make an Impact

ProCare is seeking a talented Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time assignment in our district for the 2024-2025 school year. Competitive hourly rates, full healthcare benefits, and personal recruiter provided.

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Active Speech Language Pathology licensure & state credentials
  • ASHA CCC's Preferred
  • Master's Level degree from an accredited speech program
  • Preferably, some experience within the school system Please note that licensure and relevant experience are strictly required for this position. Unlicensed applicants will not be contacted for an interview.


General Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, monitor, and review the Individual Education Program (IEP) of each student on the caseload, at least annually
  • Work with parents to improve communication skills and support their child's educational program
  • Collect and maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload
  • Provide appropriate speech/language screening and diagnostic services
  • Collaborate with regular education and/or special education educators on an ongoing basis
  • Refer students to other specialists as needed
  • Provide effective therapeutic services according to established program guidelines and service delivery models
  • Administer ongoing evaluations of student progress towards established goals and objectives
  • Serve as a resource to regular education teachers and administrators regarding the needs of communicatively handicapped children
  • Perform special duties to meet the unique needs of specific populations
  • Participate in training programs to enhance skills and proficiency related to the assignment
  • Ensure adherence to good safety procedures
