Empower Young Learners as a School Psychologist in Middlebury, CT

ProCare Therapy is seeking a skilled and caring School Psychologist to serve as a long-term substitute in Middlebury, CT. This full-time opportunity focuses on supporting elementary students with academic, behavioral, and emotional needs.

Position Details
  • Location: Middlebury, CT
  • Schedule: Full-time
  • Caseload: Elementary students
  • Duration: Long-term substitute
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate student needs and strengths.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to create intervention plans that support student success.
  • Provide counseling to students for emotional and social development.
  • Participate in IEP and 504 plan meetings, offering data-driven recommendations.
  • Address behavioral concerns with evidence-based strategies and interventions.
Qualifications
  • Masters degree or higher in School Psychology.
  • Active Connecticut School Psychologist Certification (required).
  • Experience working with elementary students preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to collaborate effectively with school teams.
Compensation
  • $40+ per hour (Varies depending on experience).
