Job Description

The CNC Mill Machinist is responsible for following prescribed standards of CNC operations, set-ups, prototype, and established processes. This role requires a high degree of precision and expertise in operating and programming CNC milling machines.

Responsibilities
  • Set up equipment to run production and/or prototype parts according to blueprints.
  • Develop new work instructions for prototype parts.
  • Perform set-ups on proven and prototype parts, conduct tool changes, run product, and make tool off-sets.
  • Troubleshoot processes, programs, equipment, and tooling.
  • Conduct shop floor programming and editing of CNC programs to maintain product quality.
Essential Skills
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2-5+ years in CNC Mill set-up and machining.
  • Experience with various machine tool controls (G-M Codes & Mazatrol a plus).
  • Knowledge of blue print reading and a working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Knowledge of mathematical formulas needed to calculate product dimensioning.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Quality assurance.
  • Blueprint reading.
  • Experience with CAD software.
  • Prototype machining.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectively.
  • Proficiency with calipers and other precision measurement tools.
  • Experience with Haas machines.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00
