Job type: full time

Pay: $20-28/hr

Schedule & Shift:

- M-F + 2-3 Saturdays/month ; 50-60 hours/week

- Saturday OT is an 8 hour shift

- 1st Shift: | 5am-3pm + Saturday OT

- 2nd Shift | 3pm-1am + Saturday OT

Responsibilities:

  •  Soldering surface mount and through-hole components onto PCBs.
  •  Reading and interpreting assembly instructions, diagrams, and blueprints.
  •  Inspecting completed assemblies for quality and accuracy.
  •  Troubleshooting and resolving soldering issues or defects.
  •  Collaborating with team members to ensure project deadlines are met.

Qualifications and skills necessary for the role, including:

  • Experience in PCB assembly and soldering, preferably in a manufacturing or electronics assembly environment.
  • Proficiency in soldering techniques and equipment.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and specifications (e.g., IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620).
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Commitment to safety practices and maintaining a clean work environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Manually solder surface mount and thru-hole components on printed circuit boards
  • Use microscopes, tweezers, and flux pens to complete assemblies
  • Work off computerized blueprints and schematics
  • Perform first article inspection (FAI)
