Tax Manager Qualifications and Responsibilities:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
  • CPA or similar designation required
  • 4+ years of tax related experience for a major company or division of a large corporation
  • Recent supervisory or management experience
  • Experience with creating and maintaining financial reporting documents including annual, quarterly, and monthly.
  • Oversee Tax work paper preparation, working closely with the Tax Director to ensure deadlines are met
  • Experience signing off on 1099 reports before review
  • Knowledgeable in creating client budgets and overseeing estate planning to ensure compliance
  • Excellent communication with a team player mentality
