Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our kitchen department. In this role, you will be responsible for prepping food for the current and next day's menu, ensuring the preparation of high-quality meals in a timely manner. You will prepare customized individual plates/orders according to customer preferences, including both hot and cold menu selections. Additionally, you will maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all food areas, carts, equipment, and storage areas, ensuring a clean, orderly, and sanitary workspace at all times.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh, high-quality food in a timely manner.

• Prepare both hot and cold menu selections.
• Constantly clean and sanitize food areas, carts, equipment, and storage areas.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and sanitary workspace at all times.

Work Environment

This hospital is a smaller one with only 60 beds and a total of 17 people in the kitchen. Half work the 11am shift and half work the 6am shift. The dress code includes no facial piercings, tattoos must be covered, and no strong fragrances.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newberg, Oregon.
