Position: IT Infrastructure Support Analyst

Location: Overland Park, KS -- HYBRID (2 days onsite, 3 days remote)

Salary:  up to $65K + bonus + benefits

In the IT Infrastructure Support Analyst role you will monitor, triage, and resolve support tickets while maintaining high customer satisfaction levels. You will also support the Infrastructure team by ensuring technical and procedural documentation accuracy and relevance. Finally, you will apply your familiarity with networks, systems, voice, and other IT Infrastructure knowledge in assisting with other priorities and projects as needed.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Primarily handling end-user support requests submitted to the support queue, adhering to SLA requirements.
  • Managing, maintaining, monitoring, and supporting all systems and sites owned by the Infrastructure Team.
  • Maintaining a positive rapport with customers concerning their technology needs.
  • Keeping track of software and hardware inventory.
  • Updating documentation for end users including technical, policy, and procedural documentation.
  • Core business hours with some on-call rotation and possible domestic travel up to 20% on as needed basis.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • A 2-year degree in a computer technology-specific field of study, or a 4-year degree in a related field of study.
  • 1+ years of experience in IT support, basic understanding of local area networks, and MS Active Directory.
  • Familiarity with Meraki Cloud networking, Microsoft 365/Office 365 applications, LAN/WAN/SAN, VMware ESXi, RDP, ScreenConnect, and ConnectWise ticketing system is a plus.

• Proficient in Computer Hardware, with the ability to manage and maintain IT equipment effectively.
• Demonstrated experience with Active Directory, including user and group management and policy configuration.
• Proficient in using Office 365, with a focus on managing subscriptions and troubleshooting issues.
• Basic knowledge of Network Troubleshooting, with the ability to identify and resolve connectivity problems.
• Ability to provide technical support and troubleshooting for IT infrastructure.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on swiftly identifying and rectifying IT issues.
• Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex IT issues in understandable terms.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to continuously update knowledge and skills in IT infrastructure and related areas.
• Proactive approach to identifying potential IT problems and implementing preventative measures.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is preferred.
