School Speech Language Pathologist Job Opening
ProCare Therapy has partnered with a School District near the Willow Grove, DE area that is looking for a full-time SLP for the school year 2024-2025. Please see additional details about this opportunity below:
Location:Willow Grove, DE
Start Date: ASAP start through June 13th, 2025
Pay: Starting at $48+/hour
Caseload: Around 40 Preschool age students - more details discussed during interview
Position Overview:
- Evaluation & Planning: Perform comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication skills, and develop personalized therapy plans to address issues such as articulation, fluency, and language development.
- Skill Enhancement: Utilize targeted therapy techniques to foster improvements in students' communication abilities, enhancing their academic and social success.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with educators, parents, and school staff to deliver a holistic approach to student development.
- Documentation: Keep detailed records of assessments, therapy sessions, and student progress to ensure ongoing evaluation and clear communication of outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Licensure: Valid SLP license in Delaware
- Experience: Previous experience working with students of various needs is highly valued.
- Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential for engaging with students, families, and colleagues.
