Looking for Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants

ProCare Therapy is partnering with a school district in Pickerington, OH, to recruit a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for the 2024-2025 school year. This role involves delivering therapeutic interventions to support students. Position Details:

  • Full-time

  • $33-38/hr
  • August 12, 2024-May 23, 2025

Job Description:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services in a school environment under the guidance of a licensed therapist.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to devise and execute tailored therapy plans.
  • Assess students needs and progress, focusing on motor skills, sensory processing, and daily activities.
  • Lead therapeutic activities to enhance motor skills, coordination, and independence.
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with professional standards and regulations.
  • Train school staff on supportive techniques and accommodations.
  • Contribute to interdisciplinary meetings and stay updated on best practices in occupational therapy.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in school or pediatric environments is preferred
  • Must possess COTA licenses and teaching certifications forOhio
  • Demonstrated proficiency in interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and colleagues

Interview Process:

  • 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
  • 20-30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District
  • Offer is typically within 24-48 hours of the virtual interview.
