Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler for the 1st shift. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for picking and putting away parts in the warehouse and line locations, confirming finished goods and delivering to the dock, performing physical inventory counts, reporting and transferring manufacturing scrap, restocking hardware to assembly lines, responding to requests from the manufacturing lines and delivering material, and assisting in the receiving area with loading and unloading trucks when needed. You will also be required to follow proper industrial equipment guidelines.

Responsibilities
  • Picking and putting away parts in the warehouse and line locations
  • Confirming finished goods and delivering to the dock
  • Performing physical inventory counts
  • Reporting and transferring manufacturing scrap
  • Restocking hardware to assembly lines
  • Responding to requests from the manufacturing lines and delivering material
  • Assisting in the receiving area with loading and unloading trucks when needed
  • Following proper industrial equipment guidelines
Essential Skills
  • Prior hi-lo & forklift experience
  • Valid/clear driver's license with no restrictions
  • 6 months or more of material handling experience
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in production, material handling, picking and packing
  • Knowledge of operating a pallet jack and order picking

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Holland, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00
