Inventory Coordinator

Summary: The primary focus is to manage the physical inventory for Raw Material, Component and finished goods through daily cycle counts, quarterly and yearly physical counts and or directed by the Controller. The position will also be responsible for supporting shop floor transactions the directly impact inventory through ERP transactions. 

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Continuously improve inventory procedures and reconciliations processes
• Accountable for inventory accuracy
• Perform daily cycle counts for various part classes and entry quantity adjustments into ERP
• Support department leads with respective production transactions to ensure inventory accuracy
• Receive incoming raw materials and verify contents match purchase order and packing list items and noting discrepancy in quantity or quality 
• Rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with Manager to rectify damages and shortages
• Record daily deliveries into ERP system the same day
• Ensure all Raw, Components and Finished Goods must have Quality check sticker prior to put away
• Maintain accurate inventory of all Raw Component and Finished Goods products
• Submits requisition entries for Kanban items and shop supplies
• Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure proper levels of inventory are maintained
• Use of hand truck, pallet jack and or forklift to move foods from receiving areas to stock/work areas 
• Perform other job related duties or other assigned tasks and projects as directed by supervisor

Job Requirements:

• 5 years experience in inventory or warehouse management
• 3-5 years experience with inventory management module in ERP system
• Forklift Driver Certification
• Maintain safe work environment and compliance with company policies
• Associates Degree
