Job Description:

Sunbelt Staffing is looking for a dedicated School Psychologist to join our team in Dartmouth, MA. This full-time position is available starting September 3, 2024, and continues through the end of the school year. The role involves working with students in grades 6-12, addressing a variety of psychological needs including emotional health, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and conducting initial and re-evaluations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students in grades 6-12.
  • Provide counseling and support for emotional health and autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
  • Perform initial evaluations and re-evaluations to develop and update individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to support student development and well-being.
  • Develop and implement strategies to address a range of psychological and educational needs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.

Requirements:

  • Valid Massachusetts School Psychologist license.
  • Experience in conducting assessments and providing support for emotional health and ASD.
  • Strong skills in evaluating, counseling, and collaborating with educational teams.
  • Ability to manage a mixed caseload and address diverse psychological needs.
