We are seeking a qualified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in the weling Kingston, PA area This full-time, in-person position for the 2024-2025 school year offers a unique chance to make a significant impact on the lives of students in middle and high school by providing essential behavior intervention support in a positive and structured learning environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students with behavioral needs in your 7th-12th grade caseload.
  • Utilize evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and strategies to address challenging behaviors, promote positive learning outes, and foster social-emotional development.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, focusing on developing positive behavior skills and fostering independence.
  • Collect and analyze data on student behavior and interventions, and report progress to supervising BCBAs.
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, counselors, administrators, and parents to create a cohesive and supportive team approach for student success.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of student behavior and progress.
  • Advocate for students with behavioral needs and promote inclusive practices within the school munity.
  • Stay current on best practices in ABA and ensure interventions ply with ethical guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or actively pursuing certification.
  • Prior experience working with adolescents with behavioral needs in a school setting is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and practices.
  • Excellent munication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students, parents, teachers, administrators, and other school staff.
  • Proficiency in data collection and analysis.
  • A passion for supporting students with behavioral needs and a mitment to working collaboratively within a school munity.
  • Patience, passion, and a positive attitude to create a supportive learning environment for teenagers.
