Position: IV/Inpatient Pharmacy Technician
Location: Palmdale, CA
Start: ASAP
End: 12-weeks
Shift: Part-Time (Day shift, some evenings, rotating weekends)

Duties:

  • Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
  • Assist in the pounding of sterile products
  • Utilize EPIC EMR for patient records and medication management
  • Support the pharmacy team in providing high-quality care to pediatric patients

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1- 2 years pharmacy technician inpatient experience(hospital setting preferred)
  • Recent IV experience
  • Pyxisexperience preferred
  • Cerner experience preferred

License:

  • CA: Registered Pharmacy Technician from the State Board of Pharmacy required
  • CPHT certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board preferred
