Phlebotomists/Lab Assistants needed for a large medical group. Candidates must have six months to one year of experience working with all ages, from neonatal to geriatric. Hospital, acute care, and inpatient experience are preferred. Candidates must be comfortable floating between locations daily and working split shifts at different locations. Responsibilities include drawing blood from 40-50 patients per shift. Strong customer service skills are essential to uphold the organization’s values. Candidates must be computer proficient, ideally with prior experience with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS). The role requires working from 11am to 7:30pm, drawing patients and picking up STAT specimens.
Hard Skills- Phlebotomy experience (six months to one year, within the last year)
- Valid CPT CA license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS)
- Strong customer service skills
- Flexibility to float and work split shifts
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in San Marcos, California.
Work EnvironmentMedical Centers (inpatient setting) and Medical Office Buildings (outpatient setting)
