Assignment Details:


  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
  • Commitment: Providers must commit to 3-4 shifts per month
  • Weekends/Holidays: None

Responsibilities:


  • Primary Role: Pediatric Anesthesia in Operating Room/Procedural areas with General Anesthesia (GA)
  • Supervision: Required to supervise CRNAs
  • Patient Population: Neonates and complex pediatric patients (ASA 3 & 4)
  • Procedures: ENT, Gastroenterology, Urology, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Dental, Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology

Practice Setting:


  • Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinic Hours Only
  • EMR System: Cerner
  • Support Staff: Yes

Qualifications:


  • Specialty: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
  • Board Certification: Required
  • Experience:

    • Prior and current pediatric anesthesia experience is mandatory
    • Must be competent and comfortable caring for neonates and complex patients
  • Licensure: Active MI license required
  • Temporary Privileges: Available
