Job Description

The candidate will perform a variety of welding functions on structural plate using SMAW and FCAW processes. This role involves reading blueprints for welding insignia and applying them to assemble components on piping and structural systems.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, measure, hand dress, cut, and fit prepare metal surfaces for welding process as per job-specific requirements.
  • Visually observe pre- and post-welded surfaces and interpret job requirements using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments.
  • Interpret insufficient weld criteria and efficiently blend to repair.
Essential Skills
  • MIG welding
  • Stick welding
  • Fluxcore welding
  • 5+ years of experience in structural welding
  • Experience in threading, grinding, welding, brazing, rigging, plasma cutting, and gas arc cutting
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • 4G welding
  • 3G welding
