Job DescriptionJob Description

Pay: $30hr - $33hr

Shift: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm

Description:

Perform light maintenance tasks related to improvement and upkeep of facilities, including cleaning of equipment, resetting office space(s) and furniture, light bulb and battery replacements, etc.

· Assemble, repair, set-up, take down or move office furniture and equipment as needed.

· Perform maintenance support that may include replacing and adjusting lighting, controlling building temperatures, and repairing general plumbing problems.

· Works with a high degree of safety according to OSHA and policy requirements and with attention to safety of others in the work area. Responsible for safe use and disposal of chemicals according to statutory requirements.

· Performs various repairs and equipment upkeep, including hanging pictures, light bulb replacement, battery changeouts.

· Frequently lift/carry up to 40 pounds

· Ability to cope with a stressful work environment and cordially interact with coworkers to accomplish common tasks.

· Execute room set-ups and take downs to configure for various meetings and events including chairs, tables, A/V equipment, extension cords, waste and recycling containers, etc.

· Day porter and daily checks with office kitchens to maintain as clean and orderly; routinely running and emptying dishwashers.

· Daily processing of incoming parcels (USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, Amazon), recording onto appropriate logs and communication to recipients.

· Daily processing of outgoing parcels (USPS, UPS, FedEx) supporting both domestic and international shipping needs.

· Monitoring of pest intrusions to offices (ants, rodents), and mitigating as needed.

· Spot clean carpeted areas; walk offices weekly to determine if/where action is needed.

· Disposing of waste and recycling to appropriate exterior receptacles as needed.

· Washing, drying, restocking gym and shower room towels and cloths.

· As needed and instructed to do so, ability to open offices and disarm security alarm. Open offices and turning on lighting at start of workday.

· Performs other duties as assigned

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

1 to 2 years of recent work experience within a warehouse will work and basic aptitude of putting together furniture and basic maintenance
