Job Description

Responsible for verifying conformance to Manufacturing and Warehouse Procedures ensuring products meet expected customer requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Quality control of continuous in-line production adherence to labeling, product workmanship, traceability, documentation, training, etc.
  • Inspect product per applicable Engineering Drawings and Manufacturing & Test Procedures.
  • Generate Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCMR’s).
  • Conduct internal audits upon direction
  • Utilize ERP (AX).
  • Participate in external audits advocating for the company (Customer, 3rd party, Regulatory).
Essential Skills
  • 1 or more years of Inspection experience in a medical device environment, performing in-process and final inspections.
  • Experience using associated measurement devices (microscope, caliper, laser scanner).
  • Microsoft applications and ERP systems.
  • Proficient in the use of standard inspection tools (calipers, microscope, etc.).
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret various prints, manufacturing & test procedures.
  • Good mathematical ability to compute/count totals, averages, ranges.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English to effectively communicate with company personnel and auditors.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • High school degree or GED.
  • Basic knowledge of computers, Microsoft Office, and related data entry experience.
  • Understanding the importance of quality and related functions.
