Nephrologist - Cleveland, OH
Shift: Full-time
Shift: (Monday to Friday) Days

The physician candidate should possess these skills:

  • Demonstrate critical thinking and diagnostic reasoning skills in medical decision making while performing evaluation and management of the patients.

  • Communicate effectively with patients, referring providers, other members of the practice, and the patient's healthcare team, as needed to foster continuity of care and good relations.

  • Order appropriate laboratory tests or radiologic procedures, along with following up on the results.

  • Recommend consults as appropriate.

  • Prescribe appropriate pharmacological agents as well as non-pharmacologic therapies (no controlled substances.)

  • Document the plan of care, interventions and evaluations in a clear and concise manner in the patient's medical record while following approved hospital and office policies and compliance standards for documentation.

  • Submit correct billing codes with appropriate diagnosis codes on a daily basis to the practice. On-the-job training in billing and coding is provided, with optional webinars.

Other duties may be assigned.


Licenses/Certifications:
Posses or attain an Ohio medical license, and Board Certification in Nephrology
