Join our team as a Door Shop-Production Worker where you will be responsible for handling and finishing doors in our busy door shop. You will be involved in various stages of door production, including lifting and staging doors, operating forklifts, and using hand and power tools. This position offers room for growth and the opportunity to advance within the company.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze and resolve work problems
  • Work with a team to create and build products
  • Palletize and prepare finished orders for shipment
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Enact company policies and abide by safety regulations
  • Operate forklifts to move staged doors
  • Lift and move 100-130 doors per day, weighing 60-80 pounds
  • Use pneumatic staplers, power drills, and other tools as needed
  • Read and understand orders as received
  • Assemble pre-fabricated doors to meet work order specifications
  • Review finished goods to ensure accuracy and quality of construction
  • Use power tools such as mills, saws, and joiners
  • Use pneumatic tools such as nail guns
Essential Skills
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Ability to regularly lift/move/manipulate up to 60 pounds and occasionally lift/move/manipulate up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to safety regulations
  • Ability to perform all job functions safely
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to read a tape measure accurately and consistently to 1/16”
  • Ability to read and interpret verbal instructions, diagrams, and documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • 1 year of experience with hand and power tools (Preferred)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00
