CNC Operator

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machinery, ensuring parts meet specifications, and maintaining a high level of quality control. This position involves working within OSHA and ISO standards and performing daily preventative maintenance duties.
Responsibilities- Read and complete machine set-up sheets.
- Set up machines for production use.
- Assist with quality control plan details.
- Follow 1st piece inspection procedure.
- Acquire parts to be machined.
- Read blueprints, job orders, and tooling instructions to understand production requirements.
- Machine parts to required specifications.
- Inspect machined pieces to verify conformance to specifications.
- Move parts to designated areas.
- Replace worn tooling as needed.
- Remove and return tooling upon job completion.
- Suggest machining methods to improve job efficiency.
- Work within OSHA and ISO standards.
- Perform daily preventative maintenance duties.
- Experience with CNC machinery
- Proficiency with calipers and micrometers
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and tooling instructions
- Experience in machine set-up
- 5+ years of CNC experience
- 2+ years of experience at each previous company
- Experience with machine shop environment
- Knowledge of quality control procedures
- Experience on 1st and 2nd shifts
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00
