HR Generalist in the Food Industry

Vacaville, Ca


Responsibilities:

• Follow human resource procedures for all company personnel

• Develop personnel policies and procedures

• Maintain employee handbook

• Recruit for open positions

• Onboarding including benefits selections

• Procure contract workers as needed and coordinate with staffing vendors

• Comply with all legal requirements

• Manage affirmative action program, and file EEO/AA-1 report annually

• Maintain all required documentation as per EEO regulations

• Handle Learning and Development and ETP Training

• Do employee relations work, including counseling, outplacement, and exit interviewing

• Keep organization charts and job descriptions current

• Minimum 3 years as an HR Generalist

• ADP - Financial Services

• ADP Workforce Now

• ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode (preferred)

• Ceridian software

• Dayforce software

• Strong benefits functions comprehension

• Following of regulations and standards in the Food Industry

• Experience in employee relations

• FMLA understanding
