Position: School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)

Location:Merrillville, IN

Job Type: Full-time or Part-time

Job Description: As a School-Based Occupational Therapist with Soliant, you will play a vital role in supporting students' educational success by addressing their sensory, motor, and developmental needs. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, providing therapy sessions, and collaborating with teachers and parents to promote students' participation and independence in school activities.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
  • State licensure or eligibility for licensure in Indiana
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, but not required
  • Knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy principles and practices
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy interventions to meet the diverse needs of students
