Position 1: Special Education Teacher (Grades K-2)
Specialization: Resource and Inclusion
Focus: Learning Disabilities, munication Impairment, Some OHI, Possibly 1-2 Autism Students
Daily Schedule:

  • Monday-Thursday: 7:45am - 3:45pm
  • Friday: Early Dismissal at 12:45pm
    Prep Periods: Built into schedule

Responsibilities:

  • Provide resource and inclusion support for K-2 students with diverse learning needs.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with general education teachers to support students in the classroom.
  • Assess and track student progress, adapting instruction as needed.
  • municate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field.
  • Valid NJ Special Education Teaching Certificate.
  • Experience with early childhood special education preferred.
  • Strong munication and organizational skills.

Position 2: Special Education Teacher (Grades 7-8)
Specialization: Resource and Inclusion
Focus: Learning Disabilities, munication Impairment, Some OHI
Daily Schedule:

  • 7:35am - 4:30pm
  • Early dismissal at 4:00pm if all work and meetings are plete
    Prep Periods: Built into schedule

Responsibilities:

  • Provide resource and inclusion support for middle school students.
  • Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs.
  • Work collaboratively with general education teachers to facilitate student participation.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing interventions as necessary.
  • Engage with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field.
  • Valid NJ Special Education Teaching Certificate.
  • Experience working with middle school students with learning disabilities.
  • Excellent munication and problem-solving skills.

Position 3: Special Education Teacher (Grades 10-12)
Specialization: Mostly Inclusion (Possibly 1 Resource Class)
Focus: Learning Disabilities, munication Impairment, Some OHI
Daily Schedule:

  • IN Class Support for 2 Geometry Classes and 2 Statistics Classes
  • Possibly 1 Science Class or 2
  • 30 Minutes Resource with Math Blocks

Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-class support and resource instruction for high school students.
  • Assist students with learning disabilities and other special needs in Geometry, Statistics, and potentially Science classes.
  • Collaborate with high school teachers to integrate students effectively into the general curriculum.
  • Monitor and report on student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
  • Maintain munication with students, parents, and school staff to support student success.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field.
  • Valid NJ Special Education Teaching Certificate.
  • Experience with high school special education preferred.
  • Strong organizational and munication skills.
