Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling raw materials and finished products within a production and warehouse environment. You will ensure the smooth movement of materials and products to support manufacturing operations and shipping processes.

Responsibilities

• Unload materials from incoming shipments.
• Transport raw materials from inventory to machines based on current orders.
• Move finished products to inventory storage.
• Operate forklifts to move raw materials to various machines during production.
• Prepare finished products for shipping, delivery, or storage.

Essential Skills

• Forklift experience with prior certification (re-certification will be provided).
• Proficiency in operating a 3-pedal forklift.
• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 45 lbs).
• Strong attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish are beneficial.

Work Environment

You will be working in a large, loud machine shop environment with a warehouse. Most machines are fully automated. The workforce is primarily bilingual, with employees communicating in both English and Spanish. This role is for the 1st shift, operating from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with opportunities for overtime. The manufacturing and warehouse team consists of 67 people.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of POWAY, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00
