Special Education Teacher

ProCare Therapy is seeking a passionate special education teacherthis school year for a contract position located near Leadville, Colorado. This is an excellent school district with lots of support with wonderfulcolleagues and students. For anyone commuting for this position, we can provide travel and housing stipends to help compensate for the drive.
Responsibilities:
- Develop IEPs: Create individualized education plans for each student.
- Adapt Instruction: Modify teaching methods to fit students' learning needs.
- Manage Classroom: Implement behavioral strategies for a supportive learning environment.
- Collaborate: Work with general education teachers, parents, and professionals.
- Assess and Monitor: Track student progress through assessments and observation.
- Support Transitions: Prepare students for transitions between grades or into adult life.
- Provide Emotional Support: Offer encouragement and help students develop coping skills.
Requirements:
- Certified as a Special Education Teacher in Colorado.
- Holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or Special Education.
- Welcoming candidates with all levels of experience, including recent graduates.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive hourly pay ranging from $35 to $45.
- Inclusive health, dental, and vision insurance plans.
- Weekly payments, received every Friday.
