Shift: 5x8-hour shifts; must be flexible to work days and evenings, with every 3rd weekend rotation.

Position Overview:

As an Inpatient Pharmacist, you will:

  • Perform critical inpatient pharmacy duties, such as verifying physician orders, preparing and dispensing medications, and providing expert medication advice to physicians and nursing staff.
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians, ensuring pliance with medication distribution policies.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for medication orders, patient profiles, and regulatory pliance.
  • Participate in the hospitals medication safety and clinical pharmacy programs, promoting best practices in medication use.

Technology & Tools:

  • Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Cerner
  • Medication Dispensing System: Omnicell automated cabinets

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 1 year of recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience is required.
  • Licensure: Active Pharmacist license in PA.
  • Strong knowledge of inpatient pharmacy operations and experience with EMR and automated dispensing systems are preferred.
