Are you a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) seeking a rewarding part-time opportunity to empower students with behavioral needs by developing effective intervention strategies in a supportive school environment?
Soliant Education is seeking a qualified part-time BCBA (Behavior Intervention Specialist) to join our team in the friendly Yeadon, PA area This part-time, in-person position for the 2024-2025 school year offers a unique chance to make a significant impact on the lives of students by collaborating with teachers to create positive and successful learning experiences.
What You'll Do:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify the root causes of challenging behaviors exhibited by students.
- Develop and implement evidence-based positive behavior intervention plans (BIP) in collaboration with teachers, administrators, and parents, tailored to address individual student needs.
- Provide ongoing consultation and support to teachers in implementing effective behavior management strategies within the classroom setting.
- Analyze data collected from interventions to monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed to ensure continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the school team to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Stay up-to-date on best practices in applied behavior analysis (ABA) and behavior intervention strategies.

This part-time position allows you to utilize your expertise in ABA while offering flexibility in your schedule. You will work collaboratively with a dedicated team to empower students with behavioral needs and create a supportive learning environment where they can thrive. This role focuses on collaboration and intervention development, without the responsibility of supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Prior experience working with children in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of behavior analysis principles, FBA methodologies, and evidence-based behavior intervention strategies.
- Excellent munication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with teachers, administrators, parents, and students.
- Ability to analyze data, write reports, and maintain student confidentiality according to ethical guidelines.
- A passion for supporting students with diverse learning and behavioral needs and fostering positive change in a school environment.
