Job DescriptionJob Description

Job Summary: The Forklift Operator will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The role requires precision, safety awareness, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload goods from trucks and containers.
  • Transport materials to designated areas in the warehouse.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management by scanning and tracking products.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid forklift operator certification.
  • Proven experience as a forklift operator.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices.
