Job Description
  • We are seeking a temporary Quality Technician for a 60-90 day contract to assist in the back-end of the quality process.
  • This role primarily involves handling paperwork to ensure alignment with products and job tickets. A background in quality, especially within the medical device field, is preferred.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • This position is created to manage the high workload volume and may be extended beyond the initial contract period, though this is not guaranteed.

Responsibilities
  • Handle and review documentation to ensure compliance with products and job tickets.
  • Perform quality checks and inspections.
  • Operate and troubleshoot laser equipment independently.
  • Utilize blueprints, calipers, micrometers, and other tools for quality inspections.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in quality inspection and quality checks.
  • Proficiency in handling paperwork and documentation.
  • Strong experience in mechanical operations and machine troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Familiarity with laser operation and related equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in the medical device field is a plus.
  • Capability to interpret blueprints and use precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Auditing skills.

Work Environment

This position offers a pay range of $22-27/hr based on experience. It is a 1st shift role, working Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm. The work environment is smaller, with 15-20 people on the 1st shift, 5 people on the 2nd shift, and 3-4 people on the 3rd shift. Employees wear lab coats and hair nets, though it is not a full clean room. The environment can be quite loud, but you are allowed to wear one earbud to listen to music, podcasts, or audiobooks.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
