Floor Tech Tasks & Duties (What you'll do)

  • Buffs, washes, and polishes floors; operates mechanical floor cleaners

  • Shampoos rugs and furniture

  • Cleans vents, fans and other equipment using vacuum machines

  • Dusts furniture, woodwork, equipment and dust mops floors

  • Performs terminal cleaning procedures of patient rooms

  • Wet mops rooms, walls stairways and public areas

Floor Tech Shift Info

  • First Shift 7am – 3:30pm

  • Swing Shift 2:30pm – 11:30pm

  • Full time schedule with varied days off

Floor Tech Qualifications (Requirements/Skills)

  • Floor Tech, Janitor or Custodian experience required 3 – 6 months preferred for this entry level position

  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen

  • Able to pass a background check

  • Able to work in the US

  • Knowledge of best practices used on cleaning floors and general cleaning

  • Knowledge of cleaning products and how to use them properly

  • Ability to operate and maintain (general cleaning and troubleshooting) mechanical floor cleaners, polishers, and vacuums

  • Must be ablet to provide proof of MMR & Varicella vaccines.

  • Must be able to provide proof of TB test completed within the last 12 months

  • Must be a non-smoker including nicotine and THC
