We are currently conducting interviews to find a qualifiedTeacher Assistantor Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work in a school district nearBiddeford, ME. This is opportunity is a full-time position for the rapidly approaching 2024-2025 School Year.

Requirements:

  • Active or pending substitute certificate/endorsement in Portland, Maine
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 2 Years of College (at least 60 units) , Associates Degree, or have taken and passed the parapro test.
  • SpEd para; special education or resource
  • Education Tech Certification is required- can be pending for interview
  • CPI Training and Certificate (Crisis Prevention and Intervention Training) or behavior therapy experience
  • Experience with autism would be a plus

Caseload Details:

  • Full Time Hours: 37.5Hours per Week
  • Start/End Date: ASAP June 13, 2025
  • Caseload: K-12 Grade Students
  • Self-contained, social, behavior, etc.
  • Pay: TBD during interview
